A carpentry business website centred around SEO
Holzbau Kollektiv is a Berlin based carpentry business operating in the greater Berlin area. The 4 partners had recently started the business together and needed an affordable website. As a Kollektiv, they're not allowed under German law to run advertisements. For this reason, we decided to build a simple site focussed on their project work for SEO reasons, so that potential customers could find them online via writeups of their past work.
The main requirements were that the website would be very affordable, and since they don't want to do any kind of advertising, I chose to use wordpress and yoast plugin for SEO and to utilise the blog to show past projects again for increased search engine optimisation. The hosting for this site is just €60 per year and I trained all the employees to be able to upload projects which will build up the SEO effect over time. As a collective, they also wanted all business emails to be forwarded to all 4 members, who each had individual email addresses such as Bruno@...... In this way, each employee member could then also reply to the email as an individual.

Ongoing work
During 2021 I did a small email capacity update for them, so their mailboxes now have plenty of room. I researched the most affordable option for them, and we continue to work together. The next update will be to move the website from wordpress to Webflow.
